TICKETS: $36 per person to cover the cost of the reception

PROCEEDS fund the Beyond Genocide Campaign, which raises consciousness and advocates for Yezidis, provides professional services to Yezidi help organizations, and funds subsistence grants for college students. We are volunteer staffed; we pay no rent or salaries.
DESSERT BUFFET: Jewish and Muslim dietary laws observed.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER: MIR SALEM DAOUD, Head Yezidi religious leader in the U.S. and Canada; President, Ezidi North American Federation.
HONOREE: RABBI MARVIN GOODMAN, Executive Director (retired), Board of Rabbis of Northern California; Rabbi-in-Residence (retired), Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties; Administrator, Beyond Genocide Yezidi Campaign.

All three honorees will receive the 2017 Beyond Genocide Campaign Humanitarian Hero Award
for advocating for Yezidis and others struggling for freedom and dignity.
Bishop William Swing, United Religions Initiative founder and President will receive the award in absentia.

“In October 2016, we bestowed a Global Citizen Humanitarian Hero Award upon Rabbi Pam Frydman and the six sponsoring organizations of the Beyond Genocide Campaign,” said Herb Behrstock of the United Nations Association, East Bay Chapter. “We are very pleased that the Beyond Genocide Campaign is now bestowing a Humanitarian Hero Award upon these four worthy candidates.”

Underwriters ($5,000 minimum) Underwriters contribute $5,000 or more. Underwriters are entitled to 6 Gala tickets, two full page ads in our electronic tribute book and a photo op with our honorees and keynote speaker.
Host Committee ($500 minimum) Host Committee donate $500. Host Committee will each be mentioned in a full page in our electronic tribute book. Tickets to the gala may be purchased separately.
