Yezidi Campaign Thank Yous

Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Beyond Genocide Campaign helping Yezidis facing genocide and to those who lent their name to our statement and/or attended the August 29 Gala.

DONATIONS help raise consciousness and advocate for Yezidis. We also provide professional services to Yezidi help organizations, and fund subsistence grants for college students. We are volunteer staffed; we pay no rent or salaries.

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA ONE-THIRD CAMPAIGN: One third of all donations received from Southern California zip codes go to Yazda, one-third to IsraAID and one-third remains with our Beyond Genocide Campaign.

All three honorees will receive the 2017 Beyond Genocide Campaign Humanitarian Hero Award for advocating for Yezidis and others struggling for freedom and dignity.
Bishop William Swing, United Religions Initiative founder and President will receive the award in absentia.

“In October 2016, we bestowed a Global Citizen Award as Humanitarian Hero for their achievements upon Rabbi Pam Frydman and the six sponsoring organizations of the Beyond Genocide Campaign,” said Herb Behrstock of the United Nations Association, East Bay Chapter. “We are very pleased that the Beyond Genocide Campaign is now bestowing a Humanitarian Hero Award upon these four worthy candidates. We hope that the campaign will continue to have a significant impact in combatting this horrific example of crimes against humanity.”
