The Board of Rabbis needs your help.
The Board of Rabbis welcomes
contributions to further its work. Contributions are gratefully received for
the following funds:

Religious
materials
for Jewish prisoners ( for example, $25 will provide a prayerbook and
yarmulkas for one prisoner), and
for mentally and physically disabled Jewish patients. ($40 will provide a
Tallit and a yarmulka for a patient.)

Jewish
Book Fund
– to establish and maintain Jewish libraries for Jewish inmates and
patients.

Holiday
Food Fund
– to provide special foods in celebrating the various Jewish holidays in
prisons, and institutions for mentally and physically disabled.

Outreach
Program
– reaching out to the unaffiliated to participate in Jewish life.

Interfaith
Work
- joining with other religious groups in promoting social justice.

Rabbi
Assistance Fund
– to help rabbis and their families in need.
-
Emergency
Fund
– to help those in need of food and shelter or transportation.
-
Special
Projects Fund
– such as our Organ Donor program
-
Lecture
Fund
– to establish programs for members of the Board of Rabbis and the Jewish
community that will heighten awareness of important issues and contribute
toward religious and intellectual enhancement.
How may a contribution be made?
At this time, The Board of Rabbis is accepting donations by check and money
orders. All contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
